Yes, and the cafeteria plates are biodegradable.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Cap Cana is offering us a portion of electricity made by using solar panels.

Are specific cleaning/disinfection routines in place for pillows, duvets and their covers, headboard, bathrobe etc.? If yes, please describe.
Terry – Linens will be changed every 2 days, however based on our sustainability policy, if a used towel is hanged and in good condition (clean, not wet etc.) will be kept. Soiled towels and linens must be removed with the correct PPE equipment. All laundry and stain treatments will be processed in house with our Ecolab chemical supplier. Daily inspections in bedding and mattress are conducted to review condition and cleanliness. This standard includes the requirements for the Room Preventative Maintenance Program (RPM) and General Clean (GC) programs which requires that guest rooms must be free of defects and well-maintained for our guests. This occurs once every 17 weeks
