If Rentee/client cancels the event prior to paying the 50% balance, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be held by the Academy. Rentee/client may reschedule an event to take place no later than 6 months beyond original event date. If Rentee/client is unable to reschedule the event, the 50% deposit will be retained by Academy. If rescheduled, the 50% deposit will be applied to rescheduled event. If Rentee/client cancels the event after final 50% balance has been made, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be held by Academy. 50% balance of will be refunded. Rentee/client may reschedule an event to take place no later than 6 months beyond original event date. If Rentee/client is unable to reschedule the event, the 50% deposit will be retained by the Academy. If reschedules, the 50% deposit will be applied to rescheduled event.
Additional details
The California Academy of Sciences is one of the ten largest natural history museums in the world. It is located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The Steinhart Aquarium and the Morrison Planetarium are housed within its walls. The Academy began life in 1853 as a learned society and still carries out a large amount of original research, though its main role is now public education. Only Caterers approved by the Academy will be allowed to provide services.
