Located in the small medieval town of Montefollonico between Pienza and Montepulciano, is an oasis of peace and refined gastronomy. The building dates backs to 1300, today “Relais”. LA COSTA was the ancient town farm, nowadays is a charming Hotel Restaurant, that was restored leaving its ancient characteristics unchanged, paying great attention to every details. A breathtaking view, unique, incomparable and not to be found anywhere else, can be admired from the great Terrace of 400m² and from the rooms overlooking the garden. The LA COSTA ideal place for your special events. The dining room can host 150 persons.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
