NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi provides an authentic Venetian retreat. It is located in the 17th century Rizzo-Patarol palace, an elegant location which in the past has been both a monastery as well as more recently the Embassy of France and Savoy. The hotel is close to local artisanal shops and a pleasant 20-min walk from the city’s iconic sights, with access to a private pier with views of the island of Murano. The five-floor hotel’s 64 classic rooms are designed in a Venetian style, offering a range of accommodation options from comfortable rooms to spacious suites, decorated with luxurious materials such as Carrara marble and Murano glass chandeliers. The hotel can host receptions of up to 100 guests for special events in the Noble Canal Room and Noble Garden Room. A meeting room is available with capacity for 20 attendees.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
