ABOUT THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB For more than 100 years, the National Press Club has been Washington’s home to the world’s most influential movers and shakers in media, politics, business, sports and entertainment. THE PLACE WHERE NEWS HAPPENS Since 1908, The National Press Club has hosted U.S. presidents, kings, queens, prime ministers, cabinet members, governors, members of Congress and influential leaders in business, entertainment, sport and society to share their views on significant topics and current events with the media and the public. The Club hosts an average of 2,500 events annually attended by more than 250,000 guests and beamed to a global audience through the latest print, broadcast, online and social media technologies. We do not use plastic straws or plastic beverage bottles for guests.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
