“长沙北极星国际会议中心总建筑面积为14万平方米，总投资为16亿元人民币，该建筑南北长100米，东西宽100米，屋檐高24米。其中，会议展览面积为3.6万平方米，配套项目建筑面积为9.8万平方米（包括一座高级商务酒店和两层停车场），是位于长沙中心城市的综合项目，符合国际会议标准，具有承办全国会议的能力。 会议中心毗邻长沙滨江文化公园，该公园内设有长沙博物馆、图书馆、规划展览馆和音乐厅，周围环绕着5A写字楼、服务式公寓、大中型购物中心、电影院和各种餐饮娱乐场所。北极星国际会议酒店和洲际酒店可同时容纳多达 3,500 人的会议和 1,300 人的住宿。酒店拥有 450 间客房，会议中心和酒店通过内部走廊相连，步行 2 分钟即可到达。”
