从北京参观长城很方便。北京市周围有许多长城。八达岭长城是长城访问量最大的部分地区，部分原因是它靠近北京市，并通过高速公路与市区相连。
这一部分墙是重建后的第一个向游客开放的部分（1957 年）。八达岭长城显示的是原来的长城，而且看起来并不太新。这就是为什么大多数旅行者选择八达岭长城的另一个原因。
八达岭长城附近有一座长城博物馆和长城国家剧院。剧院为您提供了一个全面了解中国长城的机会。
