斯基普顿市政厅建于1862年，位于圣三一教堂前牧师住所的旧址上。1878 年，主厅进行了改造，高度增加，由一家私营公司作为公共多功能厅运营。斯基普顿市政厅有五个房间可供租用。 1895年斯基普顿市区议会成立时，它购买了这座建筑作为市政厅，取代了绵羊街上的 “旧市政厅”。19 世纪末，正面增加了由玻璃和华丽的锻铁制成的遮阳篷，但在 20 世纪 50 年代被拆除。扩建部分建于1935年，旨在增加办公空间。
