In the year 1871 Store Binderup Kro was set up in the present buildings, which also housed a bakery and a grocer´s shop, but the inns history dates all the way back to the year 1617, and it received Royal privileges from King Frederik V in 1749. After a gentle yet thoroughgoing restoration and extension, the inn today is one of Denmarks most modern inns with a spirit and atmosphere all its own. The Hotel offers its guests with elegantly designed, comfortable and well furnished guest rooms. in addition, it offers its business guests with Conferencing facilities as well.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
