The Gawler Sport and Community Centre is located at the Gawler Oval Complex and is bordered by the Para River. The Centre has many sections to offer including the Historic Pavilion, which dates back to the late 1800's and is still used today. The Centre was redeveloped in 1988 to incorporate a new two-court Stadium, Studio and Meeting facility. Again, in 2007 the centre went under redevelopment to incorporate the Rotary Room and Youth Shak. The Gawler Sport & Community Centre's Facilities are all available for hire. All indoor sporting activities and major events can take place at the centre. Activities available include Skating, Strength for Life, Zumba Gold, Gentle Fitness, Lifeball (Soon available, register your interest), Inline Hockey, Vacation Care, Out of Hours School Care and Birthday Parties.
