Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes : Refreshments during coffee breaks are served without any plastic packaging, drinks are available in the form of large-volume glass water containers or in the form of single-serving drinks in glass (bottles are returnable), the hotel does not sell drinks in plastic packaging. The dishes and cutlery we use are washable, reusable and sustainable, made from recycled materials as much as possible, cloth reusable napkins or ecological paper napkins (made from degradable materials) are available to guests.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Yes : Installed heat pumps that use waste heat to heat hot water. Electricity is from renewable sources - handled by suppliers.
