铁山坪森林公园位于重庆主城东部、铜锣山脉中段和两江新区腹地。东临两江新区的御富工业园，南临长江，隔江面朝南山，西面是寸滩保税港区，北面是渝北的玉峰山。 铁山坪森林公园总面积为14.93平方千米，最高海拔为583.9米。该公园以僧侣寺和古战场遗迹为特色，还有 “铁山十景”，包括青铜锣的朝天、僧官的遥远的钟声、幽谷的锣声、禅园里的雨声、铁山的圣泉、锁江遗址、花田中寻香、云岭山脉、天空中的星空土地，还有松英河月亮。 2014年4月，铁山坪森林公园被评为国家AAAA级旅游景区。2016年10月23日，铁山坪森林公园被列入第二批 “中国森林氧吧”。2019年9月20日，铁山坪森林公园被全国绿化委员会授予 “全国绿化模范单位” 荣誉称号。
