Re-engage delegates with several unconventional outdoor spaces bound only by your imagination. Catering for cocktails and canapes beneath the stars, a tipi or marquee event followed by an invigorating morning cardio session to start your day. Create some food for thought with our Mindful Meetings packages and menus, constructed using clean, whole food ingredients to increase productivity and engagement throughout the day. With the option to ‘build your own’ program to involve a healthy start with morning yoga, team building sessions by BeChallenged on the Green or an energy booster activities in the conference space. At the end of the day our 292 accommodation rooms are a short walk from the conference hub where your guests can unwind and refresh. As a part of the AFL expansion into the Gold Coast, a new $144M stadium has been built at Carrara. The stadium has a capacity of 27,500 spectators and is capable of being extended to approximately 40,000 in the future. It features an AFL oval and is capable of hosting cricket matches, concerts, festivals, athletics events and soccer matches. People First Stadium is a Queensland owned venue however the Gold Coast Football Club & SUNS Hospitality team proudly manage and operate the stadium. The stadium is located in the Carrara Sporting Complex (CSC) on the site of the old Carrara Stadium and has been designed to be an iconic landmark of the Gold Coast. Environmentally sustainable features have been built into Heritage Bank Stadium including water tanks (with a total capacity of 650,000L) that are plumbed to the stadium’s toilet facilities. The stadium has also been fitted with 450 metres (574 individual units) of solar panelling which combined, form a 5m wide inner rim around the stadium’s entire roofline. The solar panels will generate approximately 275,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per annum, or approximately twenty percent of the stadium’s total electricity needs.

Offering jazz, blues, Latin, funk, soul, dance, and instrumentals of pop and rock favorites, Kevin loves entertaining and starting the party with his big sax sound and professional backing tracks. He specializes in giving a unique experience to his clients by catering to their taste and style. If the event is mellow, he blends in with smooth background music. If the event is high-energy, he amps it up with high energy music, often dancing with guests as he plays. Engaging, personable, and dynamic, Kevin has officiated weddings and emceed events, bringing a unique blend of talent and personality. He has helped create the appeal of Full Strength Funk Band, as a founding member, and has played all over San Diego and Orange County with Liquid Blue, Wild Nights, Tom Benzon, Casanova Serenade and even with the Tito Puente band as a guest artist for a Latin jazz special. As a solo artist, Kevin was the featured entertainer at UC San Diego’s commencement ceremony in front of 7000 people, and has played The Aventine La Jolla, Mission Bay Yacht Club, The Thursday Club, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Bernardo Winery, University Club, Kona Kai Resort, Cafe 21, The Prado in Balboa Park, Tipsy Crow, Mesa College Art Gallery, Del Mar Fair,Liberty Station, and Coronado Landing. Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult. Inspired by BB King’s killer horn section, Kevin began honing his skills playing the blues. He still loves rock and pop music and enjoys covering crowd favorites on his sax, all while pushing the limits of audience engagement, building epic solos, and creating the ultimate show.
