The Montérégie region is located in Southwestern Québec, bordered by the St. Lawrence River, the Northeastern United States, the Eastern Townships, Ontario and Montréal. There are around ten points of entry from other regions. Nestled along the vibrant shores of the St. Lawrence River, Montérégie is a region that offers both tranquil countryside escapes and exciting urban experiences. From rolling hills and lush vineyards to charming villages and bustling cities, Montérégie captures the essence of both tradition and modernity.​ With its rich agricultural heritage, this region is known for its apple orchards, cider houses, and fertile lands, making it a true paradise for food lovers. The Montérégie region is well served by roads and highways, including Autoroutes 10, 15, 20 and 30, for easy travel back to Montréal, Ottawa or the United States. There is also a well-established public transit system including buses, commuter trains, the Montréal/Saint-Hubert Airport and the Réseau express metropolitain light rail system (REM). It’s also not far from the Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.
