Sommerro’s sustainability is built on its "Sommerrostandard," a set of nine principles focused on circularity and community. As a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and BREEAM "Very Good" certified hotel, it runs on 100% renewable energy and recovers heat from ventilation. Practices include eliminating plastic bottles, using social entrepreneurs like Sisters in Business for textiles, and composting all food waste via "Ureist." Their "Fargerik mat" philosophy ensures seasonal, responsible sourcing.
