Spice Island Hotel and Resort has developed a sustainability strategy in different areas such as: The special location of the plot, the architecture, design, furniture and equipment and the respect for the tradition of Zanzibar as well to take care and develop the welfare of the villagers. Whether you are planning a family vacation, a romantic holiday for two or a business meeting, we are the perfect place for you. First class quality and close local ties are important components of our philosophy. Our 34 apartments (each 56m²) with your own private terrace are surrounded by a botanical garden with an incredible diversity of plants. Our bungalows are nestled in a beautiful garden offering an incredible variety of plants. There are over 5000 exotic trees, flowers and shrubs on the plot. Honeymooners are very welcome and we could organize your legal wedding and wedding party as well. The hotel offers a conference hall for your company business meetings with a complete incentive service.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
