Augusta Regional Airport (Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field) is a city-owned public airport six miles (11 km) south of Augusta, in Richmond County, Georgia, United States. In 2000 Bush Field airport changed its name to Augusta Regional Airport. The airport opened a new passenger terminal in December 2007 and renovated the entire property, designed by the LPA Group. Augusta Regional Airport, served by American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, and Delta Connection, utilizes the phrase "Fly There, Fly Home" as part of their marketing. Lower fares at Augusta Regional Airport have increased passenger usage during the past two years.

The North Augusta Greeneway, known to most citizens as "The Greeneway", was named after former Mayor Thomas W. Greene (1985-1997). The Greeneway is a 7+ mile paved recreational trail that follows an abandoned railroad right of way purchased by the city in 1988.

Brick Pond Park is a forty acre restored wetland. Every trip to the park can bring new adventure and discovery for young and old alike. Located below the North Augusta Municipal Center along Center St. Known for it's beauty Brick Pond Park offers something for everyone to enjoy. Features include: trails, pavilion, and a chance to see aquatic life and birds.

Riverview Park is almost 150 acres and the city's largest park. Activities Center with access to the Greeneway, Riverview Park features a paved 1-mile walking/jogging track, baseball, softball, tennis, 2 playgrounds, picnic pavilion and disc golf.

"A Historical Perspective on the Oldest FBO in the Southeast" Augusta Aviation, Inc. was founded in 1940 by W.M. Boshears, known affectionately to the aviation community as "Buster". Operations were begun in North Augusta on a small grass field named Schultz Hill. Augusta School of Aviation, as it was then called, trained pilots for the duration of WWII under the Civil Pilot Training Program. Forrest Boshears, Buster’s brother, joined the company at this time as chief pilot.

The Spring Season runs from April to mid-June; the Fall Season is from September to mid-November. The Aiken Polo Club is one of the oldest and most historic polo clubs in the United States. The club held its first game on Whitney Field in 1882 and joined the United States Polo Association before the turn of the century. Over the ensuing years, it became the winter playground for many of America’s polo legends, including 10-goalers Tommy Hitchcock, Harry Payne Whitney and Devereux Milburn. Aiken, South Carolina is a booming equestrian hotspot, and Aiken Polo Club is proud to be one of the city’s main attractions. Spectators are invited to watch the games every Sunday afternoon during the season at Whitney Field, the oldest continuously used polo field in the country.
