O Vila Galé Collection Alter Real - Equestrian Resort, Conference & Spa é um hotel localizado no Alentejo, em Alter do Chão, dentro da Coudelaria de Alter, a mais antiga do mundo. Esta unidade de 4 estrelas possui 77 quartos, duas piscinas exteriores para adultos e uma para crianças, um spa Satsanga com piscina interior aquecida, um restaurante “Inevitável” com cozinha regional e um bar “Dressage”. Ele também tem uma biblioteca, duas salas de reuniões e um salão de eventos. Para ocasiões mais íntimas, também possui um moinho de azeite tradicional totalmente restaurado, com um forno a lenha típico, e uma loja de vinhos, onde o hotel costuma organizar degustações regionais de vinho e azeite. Este hotel boutique no Alentejo é inspirado na história do local e não surpreende que seja dedicado ao tema equestre. Lar do cavalo de raça pura lusitano, a Coudelaria de Alter foi criada em 1748 pelo rei D. João V e é considerada a mais antiga do mundo a operar ininterruptamente no mesmo local. Aqui, você pode aproveitar a oportunidade para fazer uma visita guiada à coudelaria, mas também experimentar andar a cavalo pela primeira vez. Condução de carruagem, aulas de equitação e passeios a cavalo também estão disponíveis, tanto para iniciantes quanto para aficionados. Outra sugestão imperdível é uma visita à casa da falcoaria e seu museu. Assista ao voo dos falcões, experimente “voar o pássaro até a luva” e surpreenda-se com a magnificência desses animais.
