The Auberge de la Commanderieis one of the historic sites located at the heart of the medieval town. The main part of the building was of templar origin and the annex was used as a last hiding place by the counter-revolutionary Girondin deputies. Both building are a unique of old Saint-Emilion and were renovated in 2003. The Auberge de la Commanderie offers accommodations adapted to your needs for your stay / holiday, in the heart of our medieval village, and put 3 different types of bedrooms at your disposal: doubles, twins and family rooms.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
