We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

The Gateway Science Museum on the California State University-Chico campus was created as a means to educate people on the regional environment through user-friendly presentations. It mounts revolving exhibits, and the building itself has five different eco-regions surrounding it. Cross the street to Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park to tour the former home of a prominent American couple. Styled after an Italian villa, the 26-room Victorian mansion hosted such eminent guests as General William T. Sherman, John Muir and Susan B. Anthony. Look no further than Silver Dollar Speedway for racing and monster truck action.
