Scarman is our flagship venue. It was designed and built to meet the needs of blue-chip organisations and enterprise clients, for large and small events. Whether it’s something small and intimate, professional and practical or large scale, the centre has a space for everyone with 12 state-of-the-art lecture rooms, 42 syndicate rooms and an impressive 180-seat tiered lecture theatre. You can now also make the most of our tranquil green space, we offer two outdoor meeting spaces designed to help engage delegates and boost productivity. The award-winning catering team at Scarman serves delicious, freshly-prepared meals in the Lakeview restaurant, private dining spaces, the bar and meeting rooms. Refreshments are available in our bar and lounge areas. With rooms that wouldn’t seem out of place in a 4* hotel. Scarman has 204 en-suite bedrooms, 19 executive bedrooms, one suite and facilities for disabled guests. In addition to the exercise room on the first floor, guests have access to University sports facilities, including a gym, pool and sauna.
