Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Hoi An Ancient town is located in Viet Nam’s central Quang Nam Province, on the north bank near the mouth of the Thu Bon River. The inscribed property comprises 30 ha and it has a buffer zone of 280 ha. It is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a small-scale trading port active the 15th to 19th centuries which traded widely, both with the countries of Southeast and East Asia and with the rest of the world. Its decline in the later 19th century ensured that it has retained its traditional urban tissue to a remarkable degree. The town reflects a fusion of indigenous and foreign cultures (principally Chinese and Japanese with later European influences) that combined to produce this unique survival.

My Son was an imperial city of the Cham dynasty from the 4th to 12th centuries, located in central Vietnam. It contains over 70 architectural structures making up the My Son Sanctuary, including red brick temples and towers connected in complex designs. The towers reflected the divinity of the Cham kings and were the main architectural element. Through centuries of construction using bricks and stone, the Cham people gradually built up the architectural complex to worship Hindu deities in a main temple and several sub-temples. Though some towers were destroyed by wars, the remnants demonstrate the unique architectural style of the Cham civilization.

This theme park is a popular day trip from the coastal city of Da Nang, about a 45-minute drive. Start with a fantastic cable car ride, catching a brilliant sunset if you arrive here late afternoon. Once you’ve made your ascent, cross the Golden Bridge, held aloft by a giant pair of hands. There are many other attractions here—don’t miss the Linh Ung Pagoda and the giant Buddha statue. Check the weather forecast before booking your tickets, as even if conditions are relatively mild in Da Nang, it can be wet, windy, and foggy at the top in the colder months.

There are also numerous fruit stalls set in front of the market, where you can purchase tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, durian, and jackfruit. Ideal as souvenirs for loved ones back home, make sure you stock up on prepacked chilli paste, Ly Son garlic, rice crackers, and dried squid, all of which are available on the same floor. Especially, that you can buy many products such as icons of Hoi An, Danang, Banahills and Golden Gates, ... Rising up to an elevation of over 700 meters, Son Tra Mountain’s peaks can be seen from anywhere from Da Nang downtown. Because of being surrounded by sea in the north, east and west, it’s called Son Tra Peninsula. Its coast is 32 km long, featuring stone shoreline and white-sandy beaches, some of which are backed by resorts. By the southern water edge, the best attraction Lady Buddha stands and faces towards the city. This glorious monument draws most tourists to the peninsula and has a great spiritual significance for locals. One of the world’s leading luxury resorts is located beside the prettiest bay, making it popular for jet setters. Around higher locations than rich forests where the red-shanked douc live, there are sweeping outlooks and military facility remains from the Vietnam War.
