Shipley Art Gallery is located in Gateshead. Situated in a central position this is definitely an important center of art and learning. It is also a very popular and prestigious event venue, offering its services for hosting functions of various types. It is an excellent example of Edwardian architecture which adds grandeur and a sense of occasion to evening receptions and banquets. The elegant main gallery provides a spacious, alternative location for a variety of PR events, functions and concerts. The Gallery also has a fully equipped learning room which is available for daytime or evening hire. This room provides full data projection and blackout facilities and is an ideal location for a variety of meetings, training sessions or practical activities such as group workshops.
