So close to Sydney yet truly a world away, Oaks Cypress Lakes Resorts idyllic natural setting is complemented by 14 flexible event spaces, able to host small corporate retreats to multi day conferencing, gala dinners and exhibitions. In the heart of the Hunter Valley, the birthplace of Australian wine, Cypress Lakes Resort is a leisurely 2 hour drive from Sydney, or one hour drive from Newcastle Airport. The 300 acre resort offers premium facilities including a Golf & Country Club, Elysia Wellness Retreat, day spa, restaurants, bars, pools, tennis courts and a range of well appointed on-site accommodation options. The thoughtfully appointed one, two and three-bedroom villas are set against a stunning backdrop of the rolling golf greens, vineyards and the spectacular Brokenback Mountain Range. The resort allows guests access to a variety of leisure activities including hot air balloon rides, world class golfing, gourmet cooking classes, spa retreats and of course local wineries and restaurants. Elysia Wellness Retreat can also offer spa treatments, wellness workshops, and team activities including yoga or Tai Chi. With the capacity to host 8 to 800 delegates, all venues are flexible in design, offer ample natural light with spectacular views. Our tailored menus are perfectly paired with the best wines in the region, guaranteed to delight every palate.
