The wide, sandy beach of Laganas (9 km long) is one of the largest in Greece. The water is shallow, a perfect beach for children. The famous Caretta-caretta sea turtle has used this beach as a place of reproduction for millennia. Canadian Hotel has 88 rooms and is situated in a quiet location but within 200 metres of the beach and 400 meters from the main shopping and entertainment areas of Laganas, the most popular and cosmopolitan resort of the island of Zakynthos.
