Silverstream Retreat is one of the most talked about Wellington venues, catering for all types of events including weddings, conferences, functions, celebrations, community events and school camps. We also provide the best range of accommodation the Hutt Valley has to offer. You have the choice of two wedding venues both with versatile spaces for small intimate weddings or larger groups up to 250 guests. A unique setting for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Silverstream Retreat is an ideal Wellington conference venue for small meetings or large corporate conferences and events. We offer full service conference catering, with a great selection of menus which can be tailored to suit special requests or requirements. We know what it takes to create a successful function or celebration, small or large. From gala dinners, school balls and family reunions to anniversaries and birthdays. Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
