The forest park Felipe VI has more than 310,000 trees and 317,000 shrubs and it is a place designed for recreation with its 32 km of walking trails, 5 km of cycling lanes, picnic tables, resting areas and playgrounds. This park wishes to recreate a forest park with vegetation typical for five ecosystems of the central Iberian Peninsul. Its infrastructure also includes an artificial river, two lagoons, a natural spring and a wetland. The Labyrinth, a round wooden structure in the form of an ascending spiral that serves as a lookout; the Arboretum, five islands with vegetation formations; and the Terraces, platform-shaped gardens that descend to the artificial river, are some of the attractions of this venue.
