Hotel Asteri, newly built in 1995 with traditional material of our island like hewed stone, marble and wood, is situated above the north part of port of Skala, at the narrowest point of the island that has a width of 250 meters. This hotel offers 37 well appointed sleep rooms to its visitors. The port of Skala is 200 meters away, the pier 800 meters through the location of the hotel, you can see south the port of Skala, the monastery of St. John, the old town of Hora, the cave of apocalypse and north, only 50 meters away you look the bay of Merika, the beach with the east Aegean Sea and the island of Ikaria.
