Hotel Restaurant Chiusarelli is a three star hotel located in the center of Siena, known as one of the most beautiful art cities in Italy, which is still faithful to its traditions, such as Palio. The hotel provides 48 rooms completely renovated with new furniture in 2009/2010. The rooms are all equipped with comforts and modern facilities. The hotel’s restaurant is ideal for business lunch, special event or simply for a romantic dinner in a historic place with a charming atmosphere. It has a maximum of 130 indoor seats in two beautiful halls with ancient vaults along with a sunny veranda which overlooks a green area. During the summer there are 40 more outdoor seats on a nice terrace surrounded by greenery.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
