Mountain Splendour camping, caravanning and self-catering resort is located in the spectacular Champagne Valley, Central Drakensberg. It is a family owned and operated resort situated on a farm with dramatic views directly facing the towering peaks of Champagne Castle, Cathkin Peak and Sterkhorn. These mountains are located in the Monks Cowl Reserve that forms part of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park, a World Heritage Site. Mountain Splendour is the perfect venue for weddings and other family functions. The majestic mountains make a spectacular backdrop for your event that will ensure everyone is talking about your special occasion for months afterwards. During the autumn months, when the weather is almost guaranteed to be fine, why not have an outdoor daytime function… what could be better than a lazy day spent with family and friends amongst the falling autumn leaves….
