The trail begins at Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, Wash., and continues through Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and then east past the Washington / Idaho state line for another 24 miles into Coeur d'Alene. Much of the trail aligns the Spokane River and Lake Coeur d'Alene. Just one word to describe it - SPECTACULAR!
