The Charmandean on the Upper Brighton Road is part of Worthing’s heritage. The site was developed on former parks of Offington and Charmandean houses. The south part of Charmandean Park, north of Broadwater, was built on in 1926 and the north part after 1955. The building later became used as a drill hall for the Territorial Army until purchased in the early 1970s on behalf of the Masons of Worthing by two local businessmen – including a member of the Spofforth family. The beauty of The Charmandean is its flexibility, its four main room spaces can individually accommodate guest lists of between 40 and 175 – or they can be connected together to hold 400 guests in one impressive area. All the rooms are fitted with modern facilities to make your event hassle free and successful.
