In first part of this blog, we shared some fun outdoorsy themes which can make your event exciting and more engaging. This time, we have assembled a list of few more creative ideas which are suitable for staging indoor events:

Rubik’s Cube:

A Rubik’s Cube theme is ideal for corporate events that involve teams. To create this colourful theme, you can place Rubik’s Cubes as centrepieces on tables covered with multi-coloured chequered tablecloths. You can set the tables with plates of different colours and even get a cake in the shape of a Rubik’s Cube. You can also assign a colour to each team and ask the guests to come dressed according to their team colour.
Event Venue Ideas: Square-shaped glasshouses, galleries and art hotels with colourful walls and bold designs will reflect this theme.

James Bond:

A James Bond theme will be perfect for an event that involves searching for new business opportunities or seeking solutions for challenging business issues. This theme can also be used for events that aim to teach employees/attendees how to think out-of-the-box. Attendees can come to the event dressed up like characters from the James Bond movies. The event can include card-based games like poker and roulette, and of course the drinks menu should include vodka martinis.
Event Venue Ideas: Any indoor and outdoor space is suitable for this theme. You can decorate the venue in black, white, red and gold colours, and plaster the walls with James Bond posters.

Chocolate Fantasy:

To reflect this chocolate-based theme, the venue can be decorated with wallpaper in various shades of dark brown. The menu would include loads of chocolate-based desserts. Attendees can be asked to come dressed in chocolate brown or cream colours.
Event Venue Ideas: Such events can be held at bakeries, cooking schools and chocolate factories.

Superhero:

Great for events that include award functions. The tables will be draped in bright reds, blues and yellows, and the place will be decorated with superhero cut-outs. The event can include a photo booth where guests will be handed props like cape, canes and masks to wear for taking pictures with their friends. The event could also have arcade games, temporary tattoo artists and laser tag.
Event Venue Ideas: Any indoor venue will do for this one.

Alice in Wonderland:

This theme can be used for office parties or fund-raisers. Guests will enter the venue through a ‘rabbit hole’ and will be seated at long dining room tables. Fancy tablecloths and doilies can be used for table decors. Mismatched tea sets as the centrepiece on the tables will add some more drama. Attendants can come wearing costumes of Alice in Wonderland characters such as the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, and of course, Alice. The venue will be decorated with quirky items like toadstool-shaped cushions, giant playing cards and inflatable flowers in corporate events.
Event Venue Ideas: A ballroom will be the perfect venue for this theme.

These are just few of the themes that you can use to make your event memorable. But don’t limit yourself to only these ideas. You can also draw inspiration from movies, reality TV, games shows, art and music for coming up with a unique theme for your event.
