We’re all a little more used to our “new normal,” and are slowly but surely learning how to navigate the virtual landscape. And next week, from August 25 – 26, we at Cvent will be officially diving into the deep end with our first-ever virtual Cvent CONNECT conference! We are proud to announce that with 40,000 registrants, this will be the largest virtual gathering of meeting and event professionals in history. With that in mind, we wanted to give you a sneak peek into just a few of the many sessions that we will be hosting over the action-packed two days.

Cvent CONNECT Virtual 2020 General Information Sessions

We will kick off the conference with a keynote from our CEO & Founder, Reggie Aggarwal. Reggie will be discussing the uncertainties of the past few months, recovery strategies, and looking forward to our industry's future. We will also be hosting our annual Excellence Awards, which honors talented and innovative event planners and hospitality professionals.

Personalized Tracks

There are six specialized tracks that you can choose to follow at Cvent CONNECT . Learn more about each path and some of the sessions that we will be hosting below.

Meeting Program Strategy

Our Meeting Program Strategy track includes courses on how to manage and gain visibility into your total meetings and events program. One of our sessions, Partnering with Venues to Ensure Safer Events, will walk you through exactly how to approach in-person gatherings in the safest and most effective manner.

Event Marketing and Strategy

If you are a marketer looking to gain insights into the ROI of your new virtual events program, make sure to join our marketer-focused sessions at Cvent CONNECT. We will be discussing everything from managing partners and sponsors in a virtual world in our Business of Events session to learning how to obtain engagement scores from virtual attendees and translate these to opportunity in Improving Lead Performance and Conversion.

Event Execution

Learn how to create a beautifully personalized event website in Flex Event Website Design 101, and learn from your Cvent customer peers through our interactive discussion groups.

Virtual and Hybrid Events

Gain a behind-the-scenes look into the planning of Cvent CONNECT virtual. We will be providing comprehensive introductions into the world of virtual and hybrid events as we host sessions that look to the future. And, last but certainly not least, Cvent CONNECT will be your first look into our very own virtual event platform, the Cvent Virtual Attendee Hub®!

Hospitality & Travel Trends

In our hospitality track, we will be hosting five different sessions on the future of hospitality and group business as we move into the “new normal.” Gain insights into the future of the industry in The Way Forward: Insights into a Recovering Industry.

Safety & Privacy

Now more than ever, we as event planners need to focus on the safety of our attendees, as well as their rights to privacy. We will be hosting a crash course on GDPR and CCPA regulations during our Navigating the New Era of Data Privacy session and will also teach you how to host the safest in-person meetings for your attendees when the time comes.

Education & Networking

Just because we can’t meet in-person doesn’t mean that we won’t be able to connect. There will be three different opportunities for you to “face-to-face” network with your industry peers, and time to meet with dozens of different booths and companies. You will also be able to earn CMP credits from designated courses to help further your education and your dedication to your career.

We Can’t Wait to See You!

If you have a couple of days, a couple of hours, or even a couple of minutes, please join us in this historic virtual event. We can’t wait to share this conference with you and 30,000 of your closest colleagues. See you soon!
