Cvent, Inc., and its operating entities Cvent Europe, Ltd, Cvent Deutschland GmbH, Cvent Canada Inc., Cvent Australia PTY Limited, Cvent Singapore PTE Limited, Cvent India Private Limited, Cvent Nederland BV, Social Tables, Inc., Lanyon Solutions, Inc., Passkey International, Inc. ("Cvent" or "We", "us"), is a technology company that specializes in meetings, events, and hospitality management, and engages in external marketing activities. This notice describes our practices in connection with information about you (“Personal Information”) which we collect from a third party and publicly available sources. Categories of Personal Information Processed

Cvent collects business contact information including first and last names, job title, job function and responsibilities, education, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, company information, and social media account ID.

Purposes of Processing

Cvent processes this personal information for Cvent’s direct marketing purposes. We may use your personal information to market our products and services to your employer or to contact you about professional opportunities. We do not sell or share personal information collected herein to third parties. We do not use any automated decision-making technology, including profiling, to process your personal information.

International Transfers

To facilitate our business practices, personal information may be collected, accessed from, transferred to or stored in the United States or in other countries where we operate, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the UK. In instances where we receive personal data from the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the UK, we implement safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection, including the use of Standard Contract Clauses as approved by the European Commission or taking other measures to ensure an adequate level of data protection under EU law. Retention Period

Where we process your personal information for marketing purposes, we process the data until you ask us to stop. It typically takes up to 30 days to implement your request, but in no event longer than required by applicable law. Cvent will not retain your personal information longer than the statutory retention period permitted in the local jurisdictions where Cvent services are marketed and provided. Where Cvent retains your personal information, we also keep a record of when you have asked us not to send direct marketing or to process your personal information indefinitely so that we can respect your request in the future.

Lawfulness of Processing

Cvent processes your personal information based on its legitimate interests, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require the protection of personal data. Cvent has a legitimate interest in growing its business through direct marketing and promotion of its products and services, taking into consideration the limited impact of the use of business contact information on an individual’s private life, and the fact that Cvent provides simple avenues for an individual to exercise control over or opt out of marketing communications.

If you are a California resident, California law provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information, including the ability to request that we refrain from selling it or otherwise providing it to any third parties. We do not sell your personal information in this manner. Cvent provides you with the opportunity to exercise your “do not sell” rights regardless of the state of residency.

Sources of Personal Information

Cvent collects personal information from third-party sources, such as third parties from whom we have purchased business contact information, public databases, joint marketing partners, and social media platforms. In some cases, Cvent may combine personal information provided to us from one source with personal data collected from other sources, in which case it may be difficult or not possible to identify the exact source of a specific individual’s personal information.
