How it works

From one request to finished work

Model Context Protocol (MCP) gives your AI a working knowledge of Cvent and Goldcast, so it knows where to look and what it can do on your behalf.

01

You ask

Ask your AI for what you need in plain language, the way you already do.

02

MCP translates

Your AI understands Cvent and Goldcast the way you do, and it pulls only the data your permissions allow.

03

Skills guide

A CventIQ Skill walks your AI through the job, including when to check with you.

04

You approve

Your AI brings the finished work back, and nothing is published or sent until you say so.

What the MCP? Episode 1

New to MCP? Get fluent in plain English. No code, no pitch, just what it means for marketers.

Report

What should your AI take on first?

About 40% of event work can be AI-supported or AI-owned. 0% of the relationships. See the map.

Report

59% use AI. Only 26% see the payoff.

The gap comes down to fragmented event data, the exact problem a connected AI solves.

CventIQ

The event know-how behind every skill

MCP connects your AI. CventIQ gives it 25+ years of event practice to work from.

Trust

Connect your AI without losing control

Your AI sees only what your role allows, and your data never trains external models.

Two-column comparison of AI without a skill and AI with a CventIQ skill. Without a skill, the AI improvises its plan, relies on general knowledge, depends on how the request is worded, and produces variable results. With a skill, it follows a set sequence, applies RFP know-how, pauses for approval at key steps, and delivers consistent results.

CventIQ Skills

Give your AI the recipe, not just the kitchen

MCP tells your AI what it can do with your event data. Skills tell it exactly which steps to take, what to check, and when to stop for your approval.

Illustration of an AI assistant analyzing six past in-person events and drafting a plan for Customer Day Chicago 2027. The analysis highlights 41% repeat attendance at the Chicago event, higher returns for hands-on workshops and VIP dinners, then proposes workshops, a VIP dinner, invitations to 214 repeat attendees, and a goal of 300 registrations with half returning guests. The draft offers options to set up the event in Cvent or adjust the plan; labeled as an illustrative example.

Get answers without building a report

  • Ask about every event in Cvent in plain language, not one report at a time
  • See which events, formats, and cities keep people coming back
  • Turn an answer into action, like a venue shortlist or a draft event for next quarter
Illustration of an AI assistant turning a webinar brief into a branded registration page for ‘Make Pipeline a Breeze.’ The assistant confirms the webinar, sessions and speakers, and branded page are set up; the page shows the webinar agenda, two sessions, a live Q&A, and a Register button. The assistant also offers to register attendees or draft a LinkedIn promotional post.

Get work done without the handoffs

  • Go from a brief to a built event or webinar in one conversation
  • Make updates by asking, like moving an attendee to VIP, instead of clicking through records
  • Review everything before it publishes or sends

Run every Cvent event from first brief to proven results

Your AI can build the event, manage attendees, source the venue, and report on what worked, all in the chat you already have open.

Try asking:

"Build my events for next quarter."

Go from brief to built events in Essentials without doing the setup by hand.

Get a ranked shortlist from nearly 340K venues, then send RFPs to your picks.

See how your events are performing

Try asking:

"Summarize how this event performed."

Track engagement live, then get a shareable summary from your Cvent data.

Goldcast MCP | Beta

Take every Goldcast webinar from brief to weeks of content

Your AI can build the webinar, read your audience, compare it to past events, and turn it into content, all in the chat you already have open.

01 Build

Build a webinar from a brief

Try asking:

"Turn this brief into a live webinar."

Your AI builds it with your templates and waits for your approval to publish.

See who's coming before you go live

Try asking:

"What will my audience look like?"

See company mix, seniority, and repeat attendees before you go live.

03 Compare and report

Measure how it stacked up

Try asking:

"Compare this event to our last three webinars."

Learn which topics and speakers performed best, then get a recap for execs or sales.

04 Repurpose

Turn one webinar into weeks of content

Try asking:

"Find three clips that would land with finance leaders."

Get clip timestamps, blog drafts, social copy, and a recap email from one session.

Coming next

More of your event program is on the way

ON24 MCP | Q4 2026

Describe the audience. Get a confirmed list.

Your AI shows how it read your request and how many people match, then waits for your OK.

"Who registered for the June webinar and never showed?"

"Who asked about pricing during the Q2 webinar?"

iCapture + Jifflenow | Q4 2026

Leads and meetings from the show floor

Works with any MCP-compatible tool. Booking by asking comes in 2027.

Splash MCP | 2027

Turn a few details into a new Splash event

It starts with creating events from your AI tool, then grows into guest lists, comms, and reporting.

Built on more event experience than any AI can find alone

8M+

FAQs

Claude is the first AI tool we support, and more are on the way.

No. Skills are a shortcut, not a gate. Without one, your AI works out the steps itself. With one, it follows a proven playbook.

Skills pause before anything consequential, like publishing an event or sending an RFP, and continue only when you approve.

Access follows your role, so your AI only sees what you could open yourself.

Admins decide which users, teams, and actions can use Skills, and clear rules cover what attendee data is shared and stored. Changes are confirmed before they happen and logged after.

Fill out the form at the top of this page. The beta has limited spots, so our team will follow up on fit and timing.

Your Cvent admin turns on access and chooses which users and teams can use it. Then you connect your AI tool to Cvent or Goldcast in a few steps and sign in with your existing account. Some companies have IT approve new AI tools first, so check your internal policy.
