Cvent Affiliates and Subprocessors

Cvent, Inc. and its Affiliates (“Cvent”) operate its Services under one or more Service Agreement(s), including a Data Processing Agreement, entered into by Cvent and You, a Cvent Customer (“Agreement”). Cvent engages its wholly owned Affiliates and has hired the following listed entities (“Sub-Processors”) to provide Services to You on Cvent’s behalf, and Cvent may, as necessary to maintain the quality of its Services, add or replace a Sub-Processor. If you subscribe to updates (using the form below), you will receive notification of such changes. These Sub-Processors may provide services to one or more Services offered by Cvent, and shall be listed by the Cvent product it supports which is applicable to You. Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Data Processing Agreement.

Process for making an objection:

1) Make a formal objection. Not all of the Sub-Processors listed below process your Personal Data, and you may provide a reasonable objection only to any new Sub-Processors that would have access to your Personal Data by sending a written message (see “Send us a message” link) within ten (10) business days after receipt of notice of a change. This message will become a recorded case and Cvent’s Client Services team will receive your formal objection.

2) Cvent response. Cvent will use commercially reasonable efforts to make available or recommend to Customer a commercially reasonable change in the Services to avoid processing of Personal Data by the objected-to new Sub-processor without unreasonably burdening Cvent or the Customer. For the avoidance of doubt, a “reasonable objection” to a sub-processor must show an objective, evidence-based reason to believe that such new sub-processor fails to provide sufficient guarantees to implement the appropriate technical and organizational measures in such a manner that processing will meet the requirements of the GDPR and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject(s).

3) Resolution. You understand that the listed Sub-Processors are essential for providing the Services to this multi-tenant platform. If after thirty (30) days from your objection notice, You have reason to believe that corrective action taken by Cvent with regard to the objected-to Sub-Processor still results in a breach of EU Data Protection Laws, you may request termination of the affected Services which cannot be provided by Cvent without the use of the objected-to new Sub-Processor (under the applicable Order Form(s)). Such termination request shall be in writing. In the event of termination pursuant to this request, such termination shall not be a termination for breach, and Cvent will refund You any prepaid fees covering the remainder of the term of such applicable Order Form(s) following the effective date of termination with respect to such terminated Services, without imposing a penalty for such termination on You.
