When you meet in Chattanooga, Tennessee, you’re choosing a destination that’s on a select list. Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards just recognized Chattanooga as one of 10 Best Small Cities in the United States.

It’s easy to see why. In Chattanooga’s West Village, the streets are alive after 5 p.m. with music, entertainment, sidewalk dining and people enjoying the beautiful Southern evenings. The district is anchored by the Westin Hotel, which features ample high-tech meeting space and 260 guest rooms filled with luxurious, heavenly beds.

Just around the corner, the historic Read House Hotel recently completed a $28 million restoration to combine modern conveniences with its luxurious heritage. ConventionSouth honored the hotel with a 2020 Top New or Renovated Award. Entering the Read House is like stepping back in time to the roaring '20s — just in time for 2020. With 242 guest rooms and restored meeting space, this hotel will wow guests for another 100-plus years.

By the Tennessee River, one of Chattanooga’s newer hotels, The Edwin, unites scenic views and modern luxury within the Bluff View Art District. As the city's first luxury boutique hotel, the property houses 90 guest rooms and features local cuisine, art, history, and culture. At Whiskey Thief, the city's first true rooftop bar, discover sweeping views of the Walnut Street Bridge and Northshore, stunning sunsets, and the largest selection of fine whiskey around.

In downtown Chattanooga, the DoubleTree by Hilton just received a complete renovation, with eye-catching upgrades to its 186 guest rooms and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces. The new Moxy Chattanooga, a boutique hotel with the social heart of a hostel, offers an entertaining space for add-on events to your meeting or conference. Check out the circular bar, and check-in desk, as well as the communal spaces and expansive patio, which are perfect for special events. Across town, Tru by Hilton is Chattanooga’s newest hotel and a great value option for business travelers.

Your meeting in Chattanooga is enhanced by the great outdoors, culture, and culinary scene. After a quick walk along the Tennessee Riverwalk, a hike on a nearby trail, or a full day of meetings, you’ll want to chow down at some of the new restaurants. Snack on Spanish small plates at Paloma Bar de Tapas, embrace the eclectic atmosphere of State of Confusion, or dig into local, fresh dishes at Kenny’s Southside Sandwiches. You’ll discover why Thrillist just listed Chattanooga as one of 15 American Cities That Secretly Have Great Food Scenes.

Chattanooga continues to be a great place for families to visit the Tennessee Aquarium, the highest-rated in the U.S., or to see seven states atop Lookout Mountain at Rock City. Now, when the sun goes down, the Scenic City comes alive with a thriving music scene. Music from all genres fills the venues, restaurants, festivals, and streets in the South’s fastest-growing music destination. Plan your trip to include a tour and concert at Songbirds Guitar Museum, listed by USA Today as one of 10 Best New Attractions in the Country, or come during a musical weekend such as the new Moon River Festival.

Meeting facilities can easily accommodate your technology and wireless needs, with many offering gigabit internet. Free Wi-Fi is also available in public spaces throughout Chattanooga.
