As a full-service event management company, Federal Conference knows the value of a strong partnership. Since 2006, they have elevated the success of their clients across more than 15,000 meetings, conferences, and trade shows worldwide.

Celebrating Prep for Success

As a longtime Cvent partner, Federal Conference could think of no better place to host their exclusive book signing than at Cvent headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Members of the Federal Conference team joined industry experts to commemorate the occasion. They were also joined by Reggie Aggarwal, Cvent CEO and founder, who wrote a foreword for the book.

With a packed room, Paul and Stephen thanked their dedicated staff, valued clients, and the Cvent team for their long-term partnership. “We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and hospitality of Reggie and the Cvent crew,” said Stephen.

Paul added, “Cvent is a household name in our industry. We’ve had an awesome opportunity to grow our business with the people in this room, and are excited to share the lessons learned on this entrepreneurial journey.”

Understanding the Value of a True Partnership

Reggie expressed his appreciation of Federal Conference as a long-term partner helping to drive the industry forward. “It’s been incredible to work with the Federal Conference team over the years,” he said. “Through the use of our best-in-class technology, they’ve helped thousands of organizations deliver bigger, more impactful events and we’re proud to support their mission to create innovative event experiences for their clients."

Stephen explained that the book was the product of a thirty-year friendship with Paul, much like their thriving business. He added that the honesty and candor found in Prep for Success will help other entrepreneurs discover their leadership potential. “Paul and I believe to our core that everything we have done over the last thirty years has led us to this moment," he noted. "Everything we have learned and every mistake has led us to this book; we think it will help others become fearless leaders."

As attendees networked throughout the evening, a common topic of conversation centered on Federal Conference’s dedication to their clients. Michelle Hobby, Event Specialist at National Industries for the Blind, knows first-hand how technology can organizations help achieve business goals. With Federal Conference’s guidance, NIB leveraged the Cvent platform to expand their reach with deeper data insights. “Federal Conference goes above and beyond to make sure their clients are satisfied…they’re like family,” she insisted. “Using Cvent made it an easier process and made us look like superstars, so it makes you want to keep coming back to work with them.”

The Future of Federal Conference and Cvent

Federal Conference is currently the second fastest growing company in America on the Inc. 500 list. As they continue to grow their organization, Paul and Stephen look forward to witnessing the success of their clients year after year.

“This book represents two people who care about the industry and the people they work with,” says Phillip Saims, Vice President of Sales. “It’s interesting how their journey has paralleled Cvent's journey, and it just shows how good people are doing incredible things in the industry.”
