According to a study by JLL, Shanghai will see an influx of new rooms driven by increased demand. The report also states that there will be increased pressure on room rates in the outer areas of Shanghai over the next few years, due to new projects coming up in peripheral areas such as Jiading, Songjiang, and Chongming.
