2016 marked the fourth year for the Plannie Awards, where nine best-in-class practitioners were honored at a sumptuous Cvent CONNECT luncheon.
No award ceremony would be complete without pageantry, especially when you’re at The Venetian | The Palazzo Las Vegas. Awards Ceremony guests were treated to a Dean Martin-esque performance of the classic tune, That’s Amore – but with a twist, where new lyrics captured the many incredible skills today’s top planners possess.
With learning and networking ranking as the top two reasons why people attend conferences, the Plannie Awards delivered on both counts extraordinary well.
In an effort to extend the Cvent CONNECT learning and networking value runway, we’d like to share a list of this year’s winners and finalists. Perhaps there’s a category you’re looking to enhance in the coming months? If so, stay tuned for future posts where we’ll dig into specific things these extra-mile teams did to earn their spot in the Plannies winner’s circle.
