As we say goodbye to our twentieth year and welcome the new decade, we want to look back and appreciate all that was accomplished in Cvent's Client Services division in 2019. Writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving."
2019 saw numerous awards for Cvent, individual departments, and our CEO! Reggie was inducted into the Business Travel News Hall of Fame and LinkedIn named Cvent the #4 Best Company page in the world. As a whole company, we won Best Overall Event Management Solution Provider and the 2019 Best in Bizz award for the Most Customer Friendly Company. The Client Services team won Stevie Awards for Contact Center of the Year, Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy, Customer Service Department of the Year, and Customer Service Success.
In 2019 we grew to approximately 27,000 clients! In order to ensure all our clients receive assistance in a personal and efficient manner, we hired nearly 1,000 employees, approximately 475 in Client Services specifically. While new employees are spread across all offices, we opened new office space in Austin, TX and New Delhi. We also re-evaluated our support and training capabilities, leading to a revamp of our Customer Community, updates to the Cvent Academy Online training resources and added LinkedIn Learning to further support clients’ self-learning. We also continue to offer Webinars and Local In-Person Training.
As excited as we are about the successes we saw in 2019, we are eager for all that 2020 holds for us and for our customers. As it has been said, “Never backward. Always Forward.”
