For the last five years, Cvent has published an annual report to show suppliers what planners want and need when sourcing for great event experiences.
As 2020 has been a unique and challenging year for the hospitality industry, we have shifted directions to produce a quarterly report based on an “always on” survey that asks about sentiment, recovery, and adjustment to the new environment.
The results for 2020 Q4 reflect the reality of change and the importance of optimism.
In fact, 93% of event professionals surveyed said they would be open to planning a hybrid event. This not only shows planners are hopeful about the return of in-person meetings and events, but also will rely heavily on a tech-driven future.
