In a world gone digital, people are building connections through online forums and virtual meetups. The Cvent Community is providing more scalable solutions than ever by introducing expert-led online sessions, new virtual tips and tricks, and live networking meetups with industry peers.

The sessions provide an opportunity to connect, interact, engage, and ask thought-provoking questions about the topic, and are led by industry leaders around specific topics related to event technology in the new normal.

Session information

On 22 April, the Cvent Community hosted its first virtual “Ask the Expert” session with one of Cvent’s Senior Meeting Technology Advisors, Vicky Huang. Vicky shared her suggestions and insights for pivoting to virtual events live from the Community, answering user questions in real-time.

The Cvent Community has planned two additional live sessions in August featuring several of our 2020 Excellence Awards finalists. The Cvent Excellence Awards celebrate customers who are driving innovation in the meetings and events industry. This year, we will be honoring the work they have achieved, as well as noting their contributions to shaping the path forward.

Event Platform Success

On Wednesday, 5th August, between 12 to 1 pm ET, we’ll be hosting a real-time ‘Ask the Expert’ session to answer any questions you have about how to use the Cvent platform to manage your events program and foster an incredible attendee experience, whether online or in-person. You’ll learn best practices and get real-world tips to help manage your holistic program while proving event ROI.

We’ll focus on how you can leverage the entire Cvent platform for various tasks – from internal planning processes and venue sourcing to event registration, onsite experiences, and mobile applications. We’ll also talk about how you can use our robust reporting solutions to show ROI for every stage of the event lifecycle. This session will feature representatives from SoftPro, a finalist for the Mobile Maverick category at the Cvent Excellence Awards. SoftPro has skillfully proven why they’re the best in business when it comes to using mobile event technology and will show you how they’ve achieved success with the CrowdCompass mobile event app.

Align with the Times

On 19th August (Wednesday), from 12 – 1 pm ET, Cvent Community will be hosting another real-time ‘Ask the Expert’ session right here in the Community to answer your questions about using Cvent solutions, offer best practices to align with the times of virtual, hybrid, and help you shape the path for future in-person events.

This session will feature representatives from CUE, a finalist for the Rookie of the Year category at the Cvent Excellence Awards. CUE impressively pivoted their annual 4,500-person conference to virtual in less than one week using Cvent and Zoom. We’ll also feature Michele Gebrayel from DuCharme McMillen & Associates Inc., who is a finalist for the new Cvent Superstar category. With her team, Michele launched six virtual events in one month while increasing attendance and showing value through new virtual marketing strategies.
