Cvent is proud to present the inaugural list of Top 25 Hotels for Meeting and Events in Australia. Only last month, Cvent had released four lists of the top meeting hotels in the U.S., Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East and Africa. All the top meeting lists released by Cvent are compiled by analysing the business generated by hotels through Cvent Supplier Network (CSN). Their ranking is determined by a set of qualifying criteria, which includes total requests for proposals (RFPs), awarded RFPs, market share, total room nights, awarded room nights, conversion rate and the hotel’s unique profile visits on CSN.

The Australia list is the new sub-set of the Asia-Pacific region and comprises properties with under 1,000 square metres of meeting space. The Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney has emerged as the top meeting hotel in Australia. The Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney is a newly renovated 415-room property that offers 600 square metres of meeting space. It is one of the only two non-chain hotels on the list. The other is Citadines on Bourke Melbourne, which holds the 24th position.

The second place on the list is held by Crowne Plaza Hotel Melbourne, while the third and the fourth places are grabbed by Novotel Sydney On Darling Harbour and Pier One Sydney Harbour, Autograph Collection respectively. In fact, both the cities of Sydney and Melbourne have the largest number of Australia’s top meeting hotels, with each city grabbing nine places on the list. So, if you are planning to host an event anytime soon, then we’d encourage you to look at the list and create a memorable event for your attendees. To view the entire list, click here.
