When planning an event in Columbia, South Carolina, you’ll find that our signature Southern charm shines through in various venue options around town that add a little something unexpected to your experience.

Local Flavor

Show you’re savvy with the ins and outs of Columbia by booking some space at one of our culinary hot spots.

You'll find swanky décor, specialty cocktails, and a rooftop bar overlooking Main Street at the popular restaurant Hendrix. Turn it into a dynamite reception spot for your guests, and they’ll be talking about their experience (and the food!) for years.

Speaking of rooftops, rent the newest one in town at Black Rooster. It's located across the river in West Columbia and serves up what they call “French-ish” cuisine. We’re not sure what you’ll swoon over more — the views of the river and downtown Columbia skyline or the menu.

Find Steel Hands Brewing off the beaten path in Cayce. Spanning 10,000 square feet, the space uses steel from a nearby manufacturer to give the cavernous interior a rustic yet sleek look. Sip on a refreshing Coffee Lager or Tropical IPA, then either take a tour or just sit back and relax among the shady trees and café lights outside.

Situated neatly above Lula Drake Wine Parlour and named after one of the building’s former uses, The Pastor’s Study has a vintage, classy feel for events with about 100 guests.

Central Energy is Columbia’s newest venue and offers over 8,000 square feet of social space. Formerly the central power plant for the historic South Carolina State Hospital, it was designed as a blank canvas with industrial and modern touches to help you bring your vision to life.

Southern charm abounds at Lace House, a historic house turned event space. Surrounded by gardens and tucked-away courtyards, it is the perfect spot for an elevated, contemporary event. Not to mention, the team behind this venue is well-versed in events of all sizes.
