Big things are in store for Cvent in the very near, and not-so-distant future. Chuck Ghoorah, Co-Founder & President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Cvent introduced the 2017-2018 product roadmap for attendees at Cvent CONNECT, taking place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Expanding on Cvent Founder & CEO Reggie Aggarwal's keynote, Chuck laid out the company's commitment to "jumping the curve" by creating technology and products that are usable, scalable, and valuable - and will power the future of the meetings and events industry.
Cvent  is proud to offer the most comprehensive platform of products that scale across the total event program (big, small, large, complex). But that's not enough for our developers. Cvent's mission is to deliver more  ease-of-use and convenience for our customers and users, giving planners and marketers the ability to capture and prove their impact on the bottom line. Chuck also spoke about the power of data, and the impact it can have on events for both marketers and planners. When it comes to data, it's critical that your technology "speaks to each other" in order to illustrate the return on event (ROE) that is so critical to the C-suite. Chuck noted how Cvent's Integrations Hub can help users do just that, helping Cvent connect to all the other software our customers use.  Whether you’re an event planner tracking expenses, a marketer proving event ROI, or an IT professional building out your company infrastructure, Cvent’s integrations offer improved reporting and deeper, more actionable insights that will help you make better data-driven decisions for your business. With that, David Quattrone, Cvent's CTO, took the stage to speak about where the company is headed next in terms of technology. With the acquisition of Lanyon, Cvent filled in the missing pieces of our platform and offers the broadest and deepest event management platform in the industry - but that doesn't mean the innovation will slow down any time soon. In fact, it means the exact opposite.
David and his team are taking a laser-focus on user experience. Technology is here, prevalent and it must become core competency of your organization and for our users. Our responsibility to help you, providing products that are approachable and easy to use. We’re investing in technology to support your total event program and integrations so you can take all of your event data and share it all the other critical business systems you have to accelerate your growth and prove the value of your event program. David also debuted the complete redesign of the Cvent Supplier Network, making it more personalized, mobile-focused experience and improving search filters to help planners find the perfect venues and services for their events. He also introduced and demonstrated Cvent Flex, a brand new way to build and manage our customer's events and the largest technology investment of the company to date.  Cvent Flex is also available for demo in the Innovation Pavilion onsite, where attendees can interact with this exciting new product enhancement.
