The Cvent Community is the hub for all things Cvent, and it has recently gotten a makeover. It is your one stop shop for everything you will need along your Cvent Customer Journey. What is new with this re-designed help resource?

  • Enhanced Navigation and an Intuitive Design
  • Easy access to the Developer Hub, Vendor and App Marketplace
  • Specialized Community Spaces by Industry and Role
  • Product Learning Centers

Let’s walk through each of the tabs to see what they have to offer!

Education

Under the Education tab you will first find the Knowledge Base, which is commonly known as Cvent’s search engine. It allows you to search any Cvent question or topic and pulls a bunch of relevant articles that offer step-by-step instructions on how to set things up, screenshots, videos, and best practices.

Within the Training and Certification section you can head back to the “classroom” and test your Cvent knowledge. Cvent offers a number of training courses for your total event program, ranging from Event Marketing & Management to Suppliers and Venues. Access these on-demand or live trainings directly from the Community. You can also get Cvent Certified by taking a test on Event Management, Virtual & Hybrid Events, Event Marketing Strategy, System Administrator, and so many more!

Our new Learning Centers allow you to access product hubs that provide you with all the support you need as you build out Attendee Hub, Registration, OnArrival, Surveys, the CSN, and Event Diagramming. Each of these Learning Centers offers resources like recommended support articles and trainings to help get you started.

You can now easily access our Cvent Developer Hub through the Education tab in the Community. This brings you to all of the resources to help with your Cvent APIs and Integrations from Zoom, Marketo, HubSpot, and so many more. You can find the developer guides that walk through step-by-step how to get these integrations up and running, as well as support during their use.

Communities

Under the Communities tab you will find the Open Forum, where you can get real answers from real Cvent users! Have a question about Cvent? Post it in the Community and other Cvent users will respond with their answers, advice, and best practices. You can also comment on other posts where you may have some experience and advice to give.

The Cvent Community now has specialized Communities to give you a space to ask your questions and connect with users who are in a similar industry or role as you. We have Cvent Beginners which is perfect for any new Cvent users out there. Then we have the Higher Education community that is geared towards anyone working in the higher education industry. Similarly, we have a Community for Non-Profits and Associations. Finally, we have a System Administrators Community which is great for anyone who is involved in setting up backends and working on meeting workflows. All these Communities offer places to connect, pick up helpful tips and tricks, and learn from the best in the business.

Resources

Under the Resources tab, you will find the Succeed with Cvent page, that offers different steps to maximize your success with Cvent. Learn how to engage, experience, and elevate your knowledge.

We also have the App Marketplace which allows you to search for solutions and integrations, such as Interprefy for language interpretation, Blackbaud Raisers Edge for Fundraising, Uber for Business, and so many more.

Then there is the Vendor Marketplace, which offers vendors for all types of events and needs. From AV and Production vendors to Creative Services, Destination Management Companies, Event Rentals and Décor, and more.
