Billy Newman
Billy Newman serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Cvent and is responsible for all finance and procurement activities at the company. He brings more than 20 years of experience in providing executive finance leadership to technology companies.
Prior to joining Cvent in 2014, Billy served as Vice President of Finance at Online Resources Corporation, a leading provider of online banking and full-service bill pay solutions to banks, credit unions and billers. During his eleven years at Online Resources, Billy served in a variety of finance roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director, Corporate Controller, and ultimately Vice President of Finance, a position he held the last five years of his tenure until Online Resources’ acquisition by ACI Worldwide in 2013. Previously, Billy started his career at PricewaterhouseCooopers as a consultant in their Financial Advisory Services Group.
Billy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with concentrations in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Science degree in Accounting, both from the University of Virginia.
