Located steps away from the newly renovated Oregon Convention Center, the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is slated to open December 19, 2019, marking the opening of the city’s first convention center hotel. Every touch of the hotel has been made with the traveler and meeting-goer in mind, including the 600 well-appointed guest rooms, the 39,000 square feet of meeting space and the on-property restaurant Unity-Q, all offering a comfortable and welcoming Pacific Northwest atmosphere.

All meeting spaces feature dramatic natural lighting and are located within steps of one another, including the 12,000 square-foot Regency Ballroom, allowing for a seamless transition between locales for any business or social event. The Regency Foyer features the largest pre-function space in the hotel, with sweeping views of the Willamette River and iconic skyline, while the adjacent balcony provides a breath of fresh air for attendees to recharge during their meeting.

The hotel lobby, restaurant and lounge are infused with all things Portland including bicycle-inspired chandeliers, live-edge wood sourced from local lumber and impressive array of artwork from Pacific Northwest artists, offering the ideal locations to connect and relax between meetings. The BBQ cultures of the world collide at Unity-Q, the open-concept on-property restaurant, with a menu distinguished by Asian, Latin and American BBQ flavors including an array of house-made specialties along with a creative fusion of slaws, vegetables and sauces. Don’t have time to dine at the restaurant? The Market will have meeting attendees covered with local options made in-house to give a true taste of Portland on the go.

Each of the 600 guest rooms offer a modern elegance, and are multifunctional for each guest to use the space in a way that best suits their needs. Whether you opt for a corner suite with incredible city views or a Regency Club access room, allowing access to the hotel’s exclusive lounge, there is room for everyone at the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center.

In addition to the hotel’s prime location near the Convention Center, the MAX Light Rail is directly outside of the hotel offering easy transportation to downtown Portland, the East Side, and Portland International Airport (PDX). However, guests needn’t go far to explore the best of Portland with the Moda Center (home to the Portland Trail Blazers), ample James Beard award winning eateries, vintage shops, breweries, and more on the hotel’s doorstep in the Lloyd District.

Portland is set to be the hottest meeting destination for 2020!
